The wait is over! Tickets for Brisbane’s Torian Pro have gone on sale today Tuesday 23 March.

Tickets start from $29 for adults and $20 for kids across Gold, Silver and Bronze categories - there is something for everyone.

The CrossFit Games is the world’s largest participatory sporting event and the ultimate proving grounds for the Fittest Man and Fittest Woman on Earth™. The Torian Pro will now operate as one of ten official qualifying events globally within the CrossFit Games season, and offer the official pathway for athletes who wish to qualify for the CrossFit Games Finals. The Torian Pro was started in 2015 by Brisbane duo Johno Snape and Mike Towner in their Brisbane gym facility - CrossFit Torian, with just over 100 athletes taking part. Fast forward to November 2019 and the Torian Pro transformed the Queensland Tennis Centre into a three-day fitness festival, with 10,000 enthusiasts turning out to watch 512 CrossFit Athletes from around the world go head-to-head, including four-times CrossFit Games Champions Tia-Clair Toomey and Rich Froning. That same year, CrossFit Torian won the award for “Outstanding Small Business” at the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards, in Brisbane.

“Mike and I are passionate about CrossFit and we’re extremely excited and grateful for this opportunity to host a world-class event in our hometown that gives athletes a chance to qualify for the CrossFit Games Finals,” Johno Snape said. “The Torian Pro gives every-day CrossFit enthusiasts the opportunity to compete alongside the best in the world and enjoy the spirit of the competition.” Mike Towner said, “The community spirit at the Torian Pro is at the heart of what makes this event so special, athletes of all ages and levels come together in an annual celebration of fitness, fun, and friendship. The energy at the event is incredible.”

Being officiated by CrossFit, LLC is the next step to elevating Brisbane’s CrossFit scene, bringing world-class athletes and fans together under one roof to celebrate the sport and the amazing camaraderie that the CrossFit community worldwide is known for.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said hosting Torian Pro and bringing Oceania’s top CrossFit Games athletes to our shores was an ideal fit for Brisbane.

“With more than 300 days of sunshine a year and a subtropical climate, Brisbane provides the ultimate backdrop for leading a fit and healthy lifestyle and we look forward to welcoming more than 500 athletes, including the biggest names in CrossFit and thousands of spectators to our city,” Cr Schrinner said.
“Events like this will drive our city’s economic recovery, attracting visitors from outside the region to spend up at our hotels, restaurants and businesses.
“We’re thrilled to see 2019 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards winner CrossFit Torian lead the charge with this event, giving a local business the chance to succeed and shine on a global stage.”

The Torian Pro is supported by the Queensland Government via Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane City Council via Brisbane Economic Development Agency and features on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar.
